Rishiraj Singh Mahavidyalaya , an affiliated college of Lucknow University was established in the year 2016 is located at Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Located at Katka Khanpur on Faizabad Road, it is co-educational having a campus area of 3 acres. The college received its approval from the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), to promote quality in teachers training. Rishiraj Singh Mahavidyalaya currently has an enrolment of 1,133 students and faculty of 16; the college currently teaches its 11 undergraduate courses in arts and science and a diploma in elementary education.

The D.El.Ed course is a two-year programme and it has an intake capacity of fifty per cent of the sanctioned intake of one hundred. Thus, although the exact intake for some other courses is not clearly described; the total number of student intake for this college is 1133; which states that there are sufficient number of openings for the students who want to build career in this college aspiring different courses.
