RK College, Etah, was established in the year 2014 and is a co-educational college situated in Etah district of Uttar Pradesh. This is an institution that has rise to the occasion and becoming the recognisable sight in the region’s learning institutions. Having a campus area of only 2.5 acres, the college aims at providing its 691 learners with a manifold choice of curricula. The college is also recognised and approved by the National Council for Teacher Education, for its teacher education programmes. Established with specialties in both arts and sciences, RK College offers 5 courses in 4 degree programmes to accommodate students’ diverse learning and professional desires. 

RK College possess numerous infrastructure aiming at improving the delivery of knowledge as well as the development of students in college. The library is a resource centre where students, lecturers and researchers obtain materials needed for learning and studies. For the social activities and events like college dramas, cultural programmes, etc an auditorium facility is provided which greatly enhances the over-all spirit of the college. In total, the RK College has 5 full time courses for students, which gives student diverse choices. These are Bachelor of Arts (BA), bachelors of Science with Mathematics (B.Sc Maths), bachelors of Science with Biology (B.Sc Bio), bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). The B.Ed programme, which is the programme that deserves attention, has been approved for a consensus of 100 students, a fact that shows that the college trains teachers exclusively. The general student enrolment of 691 implies a good enrolment for each course offered. This diverse course serving enables the students to take their favorite areas of humanities, pure science or set themselves for a teaching profession.

At RK College, the admission procedure differs based on the selected course to be taken by the candidate. At the B.Ed programme, admission is merit driven whereby various marks scores achieve in the qualifying/or entrance examination are considered. The college also adheres to any extra admission criteria laid down by the Uttar Pradesh state government or the university with which the college is affiliated to. Likewise, for the D.El.Ed programme, admission process is merit based based on the qualifying examination or entrance test as per the government norms of respective state.
