RKLK College of Education, Suryapet: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

RKLK College of Education was established in 2004 and is situated in Suryapet, Telangana. It has an aim in providing quality education. Located behind the Gandhi Park in Suryapet, this affiliated college has been providing quality and thickness in training the new educators for almost two decades. Recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), RKLK College provide a strong base to the student to build their career in Teaching field. This institute occupies a piece of land of 1 acre and is home to only 196 students registered in the institute. Leading a faculty of 24 members with an ideal students:teacher ratio makes possible for a college to ensure quality education.

The college has made available the following facilities with an aim of improving both learning and personal development of the students. Sports enthusiasts can always make use of the well developed sports amenities, extra curriculum activities facilities available in school while the library is a wealth of knowledge for any scholar who will want to pursue through the unavailable learning resources available in school. This is evidenced by the fact that the college endeavors to provide practical learning through the various departmental laboratories that allows for an application in practice of theoretical issues. In an attempt to meet the needs of the growing technological advancements in society, RKLK College has equipped itself with the best IT facilities necessary to make sure that the students meet a new future.

The campus also hosts an auditorium for event and seminars to enhance the learning activities of the students. Of notable features, in order to make sure that the maximum level of student and staff health, there is a health centre that has both first aid facilities as well as a cafeteria with a focus on students and staff meal preferences that unites everyone into one community on campus.

RKLK College of Education provide two courses for students who have intention to become good teacher through out the programmes. The B.Ed and D.Ed, both programme, are full time courses which are of a duration a of 2 years. The B.Ed programme having a prescribed capacity of hundred students, offers a broader insight into the aspects of educational theories and practices. At the same time, the D.Ed programme offers 50 seats concentrates on teaching fundamentals. Altogether, 150 seats are given in these two specialty programmes which plays a noteworthy role in the growth of the qualified faculties in the area.

The admission procedure adopted at RKLK College of Education is highly fair and highly based on merit which is laid under the policies of the State Government of Telangana and the affiliated University. For the B.Ed programme, the admissions are given based on the marks secured in their plus two and /or Entrance test – B.ED. The college may also endeavour to use other methods of selecting students depending on the government policies in place. Under the merit, admission criteria for the D.Ed programme includes the previous qualify examination and/or entrance test results. It adds to the standard model the assurance that only the most qualified and enthusiastic candidates would be allowed to find success in the education field.
