RN Shetty Rural Polytechnic, located in Bhatkal, Karnataka, was set up in 1987 in Murudeshwar, Uttara Kannada. This affiliated college recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) provides many diploma courses in engineering fields. Spread over 10 acres of area, the institute has an over-all student enrolment of 550 and is staffed with 42 faculty members.

RN Shetty Rural Polytechnic  boasts of sufficient facilities that facilitates the learning process of its students simplifying the learning process.
