RCET – Royal College of Engineering and Technology was started in the year 2003 and has its campus located at Thrissur in Kerala. Located in a vast area of approximately 25 acres of land, RCET is becoming a centre for engineering courses at different levels. The college is placed under the Kerala Technological University and holds NAAC accreditation. RCET is affiliated to All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) which is India’s statutory body that deals with Technical Education. The college actively follows the policy of student admissions providing an acceptable student faculty ration as a total of 727 students and 104 faculties signify.
Royal College of Engineering and Technology proud possess of original and well developed infrastructural facilities to support the total educational needs of the students. The college provides particular hostels for boys and girls, it can contain 150 boys and 300 girls, under the headship of wardens, matrons and resident tutors. The admissions made in RCET is mainly through the Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) entrance examination approved by the Commissioner of Entrance Exams, Government of Kerala. Degree wise Admission Process
B.Tech: RCET provides B.Tech programs in Computer Science and Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. B.Tech programs are accepted as per the KEAM rank list. Total admission is 360 seats through different B.Tech streams in the college.
M.Tech: RCET offers M.Tech programs in Computer Science and Engineering and Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. Information on M.Tech admissions is not given, but it is the general practice that the same either has a GATE score or an entrance examination by the state/university itself.
