Royal College, Rajnandgaon: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Royal College, Rajnandgaon, was established in the year 2009. The institution affiliated to Lal Bagh, Great Eastern Road, Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh, is a co-educational one approved by NCTE. Undergraduate courses are available in this college. This institution is running at a compact 3-acre campus with a total of 197 students and 15 faculty members. In order to cater to the diversified interest of the students who would like to join college from this part of the state, the institution provides three courses: education, commerce, and science. At the same time, it has a number of facilities that enable the students to enrich their learning experiences in an effective manner.

Well-equipped hostels for both boys and girls are there in the campus, having triple-bedded rooms with modern facilities, like television, hot water bath, and indoor games. These hostels, round the clock, have wardens to protect the students and take care of their security. Equipped also with a library, serving as the knowledge hub of the students, and sports facilities to inculcate physical well-being and teamwork amongst them, the institution is similarly well-equipped in the spheres of accommodation and extracurricular activities. The infrastructure provided by Royal College is on a par with the best available in this region. The campus is complimented by modern IT infrastructure, laboratories specialising in different disciplines, and an auditorium for events and seminars. A cafeteria caters to the culinary needs of the students and staff, while a health center equipped with first-aid facilities takes care of the well-being of the college community. The institution also maintains a guest house for visiting faculty and student family members. 

Rajnandgaon premises of the Royal College offer three types of full-time undergraduate courses. There is a combined scope for these courses to admit 220 students. B.Ed is considered the flagship program with the admission for maximum number of students being 100 seats in this course. The other two are Bachelor of Commerce (B. Com) accommodating 60 students and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) 60 students. All such courses equip students with complete knowledge and skill in all relevant areas. 

The admission to Royal College, Rajnandgaon will be strictly according to the opted course. The process of admission to the B.Ed course shall be strictly on the basis of merit. Admission will be made based upon marks obtained at the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination, as decided by the state government and the policies adopted by the affiliated university.
