RTC B. Ed. College Ranchi is one of the leading established in the year 2008 is located at Ranchi Jharkhand dedicated in the field of teacher education. This co-educational institution is an affiliated college that comes under the NCTE and recognised by the NAAC and accredited also. The college occupies a small area of land measuring 2.01 acres and provides only two specialised courses in education, but with a total enrolment of 460 students. The institute has a total of 28 members in the faculty, which ensures the conducive student : teacher ratio. The RTC B.Ed. College aims at producing professional educators through planned programmes offered in B.Ed. as well as D.El.Ed.

These courses have been developed and offered by RTC B.Ed. College, Ranchi, in two major areas of education. The second post graduate full time course is the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) which has 150 seats. For the B.Ed. programme, admissions are done by Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB). The board also conducts a state level B.Ed. Entrance Exam in on-line mode and the Counselling through Ranchi University. The D.El.Ed. programme me also gives an equal importance to the marks secured in the qualifying examination or the entrance test, as per the norms of the Jharkhand government.
