RTE Society's Rural Polytechnic, Hulkoti: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Technical institution RTE Society’s Rural Polytechnic Hulkoti, established in 1980 is one of the prime institutions in Gadag, Karnataka. This AICTE approved polytechnic is servicing the following three diploma programmes as a whole intake of 178 students. The institute has a strength of 13 teaching staff members who are dedicated academicians to give individual attention and quality education. Located in Hulkoti, the polytechnic is established in a campus environment that ensures that technical education is enhanced through intensive learning through skill practice.

RTE Society’s Rural Polytechnic feels proud to provide the following amenities which make the student’s life more enjoyable. The boys’ hostel has students’ capacity of 350 and contains 120 rooms, which are equipped with reading & recreation facilities. There is a facility for the lovers of sports, with the amenities of both indoor and outdoor sports such as a cricket playground, volley ball court etc. 400 sq.m area contains more than 17553 volumes, the library has places for 100 students. Other facilities are: Boys and girls canteen, Wi-Fi facility available in the campus with 2 Mbps speed internet, Transport Facility, AV Room, Laboratories with all modern equipments, Health Centre with first aid amenities, Guest House for faculties and their attendants.

RTE Society’s Rural Polytechnic Hulkoti offers the following three full timers diploma courses which all take three years to complete. They are Diploma in Electronic and Communication Engineering, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and Diploma in Textile Technology. Its essential that each programme be given a capacity of 45 students each to total a capacity of 135 students. These are Courses of study that are tailored to ensure that the student accrues adequate knowledge and experience in their field of specialise for a proactively dynamic professional experience in the current technological world.

RTE Society’s Rural Polytechnic Hulkoti has developed an admission process that should not be very complicated and rather easy.
