Rudrapur Institute of Technology, Rudrapur is one of the most popular and known education institutions, which was established in the year 2013. This affiliated college came out as a shining example of technical education in the region. Situated at Bhagwanpur Village, Rudrapur, Uttarakhand, RIT campus sprawls over 6 acres and is duly approved by AICTE. This institute has provided five diploma programmes in engineering disciplines with an enrolment capacity of 498 students. With 43 dedicated faculty members, RIT has retained a very feasible student-to-teacher ratio that provides an enabling environment of personalised learning and mentorship.

Rudrapur Institute of Technology boasts of incredible infrastructure designed for all-rounded development. We possess 36 fully-equipped labs and workshops, offering hands-on experience much needed for growth in technical students. Its academic programmes are designed with a concern for changing demands of the Engineering Sector. At present, RIT conducts five full-time three-year duration diploma courses: Diploma in Mechanical Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Production Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Electronics Engineering, which had an approved intake of 60 students in each course, aggregating to 300 seats. Admission procedure to the Diploma at Rudrapur Institute of Technology is clearly laid down and is purely merit-based. Potential students desirous of taking admission in the Diploma Programmes at the institute have to appear in Uttarakhand Joint Entrance Examination Polytechnics or popularly as Uttarakhand JEEP, conducted by the Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education, UBTER.
