Rukasen College, Karbi Anglong is an affiliated college situated at Bakalia, Karbi Anglong, Assam which was established in 1992. This university has its physical compound located on an area of 18.18 acres of land to ensure that is conducive for learning. This college, apart from the permanent enrolment of 643 students and having 24 faculty members, provides learners with an individualistic approach. 

These facilities include the Rukasen College Central Library, which was set up in conjunction with the college in the same year 1992. This well equip First Floor new building library covering an area of 155.1 sq. m. consists of more than 4800 reading resources including reference text books, dictionaries, journals and novels. The library can sit 50 students at any given time although there are separate reading tables for faculties. Academic skills are fostered by the college through standard laboratory equipment for each department for practical learning in various fields related to the program. 

In total Rukasen College has a list of four courses all of which are full time courses. These are BA (Honors) in English, Assamese and Political Science, and Pass BA Programme. The college’s courses in humanities and social sciences enable the development of higher order thinking skills in the students, as well asspeaking and writing skills.
