Rukmani Mahavidyalaya, Moradabad: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Rukmani Mahavidyalaya, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, was established in the year 2007. This affiliated college is sprawled over 8 acres, providing an atmosphere conducive to learning and growth. The NCTE-approved institute is known for making serious efforts toward rendering quality education in physical education. With the current enrolment of 41 students and a faculty strength of 2, the learning environment in Rukmani Mahavidyalaya is intimate, with a very favourable student-to-teacher ratio. 

There are separate hostel accommodation facilities for both boys and girls, which provide a comfortable living environment for those who might need them. The Library functions as a single integrated Knowledge Resource Centre, fully equipped with over 3,000 volumes of textbooks and reference books. Specialised staff are provided to help students in their research work. Attached to it is a state-of-the-art computer centre with over 30 computers inter-connected through Novel Network LAN. The latest technology and software are accessible from the computers. Rukmani Mahavidyalaya campus has a gym and various sports facilities for the physical fitness enthusiasts. Medical services are available throughout the day, and the college has associated itself with different local hospitals for any kind of emergency. Other facilities include a healthy food cafeteria, Wi-Fi connectivity across the campus, and transport facilities to ensure a safe commute. 

As of now, Rukmani Mahavidyalaya has only one principal course known as the Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.). This is a two-year, full-time programme, with an approved intake of 50 students. The B.P.Ed. Course was designed to prepare a student for a career in Physical Education and Sports Coaching, or other related fields. 

The admission process at Rukmani Mahavidyalaya is merit-based, considering multiple factors to ensure a fair selection of candidates. The school prospects are screened through an entrance exam consisting of a written test, a fitness test, and an interview. Marks obtained in the qualifying examination are also considered. The foregoing admission procedure is subject to changes, if any, brought about by the state government or the affiliating university.
