Rukmini Devi Institute of Advanced Studies (RDIAS) was set up in 1996 is one of the premier educational institution situated in Delhi India. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Attached this institute is a co-educational institute known for its excellent management education system. The institute is spread in a small area of 0.7 acres and has only 1, 262 students which make learning environment of RDIAS quite specific for the students. The institute has a relatively equal number of male and female students; 52 % are male students while 48 % are females. Newly accreditiated from NAAC and approved by AICTE, RDIAS recognises the importance of quality education. The institute has 24 dedicated Faculties from which it offers 4 courses under 2 degrees including Business Administration & Management Field.

Various amenities are available in RDIAS to support student learning facilitating process. There is a well-equipped library in the compound equipped with a modern facility that contains books and e-journals, audio-visual materials and IT-enabled resources which makes the institute one of the best source of information. Students can comfortably learn in this conducive environment which is fanously known to hold over 70 students at a time. There are many Computerized Laboratories that have more than 150 Intel i3 based systems fitted with latest software, high speed Internet connection and updated technological inventions in the campus. RDIAS for leisure purpose has built common room for boys and girls with facilities of Table Tennis, carom, chess etc. It also has cafeteria centre for them to relax and make friends during their break from the classes.

The programmes that are taught at RDIAS are market oriented to fit the growing trends of the business industries. The institute provides four full-time courses: MBA, MBA II Shift, BBA, and BBA II Shift. This increases its approved intake of students in all programmes to 720, while maintaining the RDIAS student to faculties ratio for learning purposes effectively. MBA regular and second shift programmes have two years duration and intakes of 240 and 120 respectively. The BBA programmes are also offered in regular and second shift modes and take 3 years per mode of carrying 180 students. 

The admission to the RDIAS is selective, and the admission is thus based on merit. The admission to MBA programmes are mostly on the basis of scores attained in standardized national levels tests such as the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management, the Common Management Admission Test (MBA). The institute also takes students from Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test (IPU CET) in case some of the seats are vacant after the CAT or the CMAT merit lists have been exhausted. Thus the admission criteria: IPU CET Merit for BBA programmes.
