RVS College of Arts and Science is an autonomous college situated at Coimbatore and was established in 1986. With NAAC accreditation and AICTE approval, the college provides 58 subjects of 11 degree programmes. Located at a campus area of 14.24 acres, RVS College has a total strength of 4806 students including both boys and girls and faculty of 190. It shows that the institute has been sensitive to the gender diversity and this is evident with 69:31 male female ratio among the undergraduate students and 55:45 among the postgraduate students.

RVS College of Arts and Science has a variety of contemporary amenities that enrich the student learning. These include air condition and non air condition hostels for boys and girls with adequate spacious rooms and bunkers.
