SBPIM Pune: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

S.B. Patil Institute of Management (SBPIM) came to be set up in the year 2009 in the "Oxford, Cambridge, and MIT" of India, better known as the education city of Pune, in the state of Maharashtra. SBPIM is a co-educational school affiliated with the Savitribai Phule Pune University and is rated as one of the top management institutions in the state of Maharashtra. The NAAC-accredited SBPIM is AICTE approved, having been set up under its aegis in order to provide students with quality education on a compact, 4.94-acre campus. With a total enrolment of 382 students and a faculty strength of 13, the institute boasts outstanding student-to-faculty ratios. 

Re-posted modern infrastructure to support a self-learning process for the students. Situated amidst an ambience of 5,419 management and business-based books, it forms the hub of academic resources. It subscribes to another 30 journals and e-journals, through J-Gate, allowing access to the students, thus fostering a rich research ambiance. The IT infrastructure at S.B. Patil Institute of Management is no less impressive, with two fully equipped computer labs with high-speed internet connectivity. The boys and girls hostels provide homely comforts for out-of-town students to stay comfortably. A clean cafeteria is in operation on campus, along with a daily requirements store for the students. It has an ultra-modern auditorium designed for events and seminars to make those tell-tale campus stories come alive.

SBPIM's flagship programme is the full-time two-year MBA course, which forms the core of her academic offerings. Total intake approved for this programme is 240 seats, showing the institute's total capacity to churn out a sisable number of future business leaders. The policy on curriculum design is comprehensive; it provides a good blend of the required competence in various business disciplines to prepare the students for the challenges of the corporate world. 

Admissions in SBPIM are controlled strictly by merit and are governed by the procedures and guidelines of the state government of Maharashtra and national level management entrance tests. There are three broad ways of admission which include Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MH-CET) for MBA/MMS by the government of Maharashtra, Common Admission Test of Indian Institutes of Management, and Common Management Admission Test by AICTE.
