S.C. Mutha Aryangla Vaidyak Mahavidyalaya, Satara, Maharashtra is one of the oldest institutions, its beginning harking back to the year 1913. This institution, which is approved by CCIM, aims to blend traditional wisdom about Ayurveda with modern medical education. The Institute provides a focussed learning environment with an enrollment strength of 271 students and faculty strength of 33. From the set of courses, there exist two degrees of specialization in Ayurvedic medicines available for both under-graduation and post-graduation studies, which showcases its commitment towards comprehensive Ayurvedic education.

S.C.Mutha Aryangla Vaidyak Mahavidyalaya offers two main courses under the Ayurveda stream: BAMS, which is a six-year full-time course with an intake of 63 students each year, and MD Ayurveda, which is a three-year full-time course with an intake of 3 students each year for advanced specialisation.
