S Sukhjinder Singh Engineering and Technology College ( SGI) was established in the year 2008, as affiliated college in Gurdaspur, Punjab. The mentioned institution holds AICTE approval and occupies a 10 acre area and provides engineering and management courses. The total enrolment capacity of SGI is 270 and total faculty members are 67 that make it to be an institute that offers personalised education. Currently, the college teaches 8 courses spread across 4 programmes – B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA and MBA in specialisation in Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.

S Sukhjinder Singh Engineering and Technology College has a complete list of essential infrastructural facilities for its students and faculty members for their personal and academic development. The college has dormitory facilities for boys and girls, for out-station students this make it easy for them to live comfortably in the college hostels. The B.Tech programmes offered by the University are, Civil Engineering – 60, Computer Science and Engineering – 60, Mechanical Engineering – 60 and Electronics and Communication Engineering – 30. M.Tech programmes have 9 seats for Computer Science and Engineering and 9 seats for Mechanical Engineering. The MCA programme is also admitting 60 seats students where as MBA is also admitting 60 students.
