Sacred Heart College of Nursing Dindigul was established in 1980 a top most college for providing nursing education in Tamil Nadu India. One hundred percent self-financing, co-educational college is situated at Pudupatti near Dindigul and the college was set up four acres of land and extend up to fourteen acres now. The college has been affiliated with Guru Nanak Dev University and has been recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) that makes sure the college educates the students in the right quality of nursing. Now the institute is running two courses of specialisation in nursing having a total enrolment capacity of 165 students and having a team of 25 full time experienced faculty members.

Sacred Heart College of Nursing currently offers two full-time courses: A B.Sc nursing program which is a four year course and a two year ANM course which stands for Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery. It offers new admissions for 90 seats for its B.Sc Nursing, with an approved intake of 50 seats only and ANM course is for 40 seats only. These programmes aim at preparing students with all the theory and skills that are necessary in approaching a vocation in the nursing profession.
