Sadat Degree College, Sambhal: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Sadat Degree College, Sambhal, was established in the year 2006 as an affiliated college located in Vill. Srisi, Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh. Situated on a 2.75-acre radius, the campus provides undergraduate programs, with a wide variety of courses for 2,187 students under Sadat Degree College, Sambhal. The college has been approved by the National Council for Teacher Education and is recognised for commitment to education. 

The library is the knowledge hub of the institution, equipping students with books, periodicals, and all possible relevant study materials for their overall academic development. For practical learning, the college has department-based well-equipped laboratories. The institution also ascertains a balanced approach in the development of their students by providing sport facilities that help the students in maintaining physical health. With regard to health and safety, a health center with first-aid facilities is also available on campus.

The Sadat Degree College offers a total of five full-time courses in various disciplines. These comprise Bachelor of Arts; Bachelor of Science with specialisations in Zoology, Botany, and Chemistry, and Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics; Bachelor of Commerce; and a Diploma in Elementary Education. Significantly, the D.El.Ed course has an approved intake of 100 students, a clear commitment by this college towards teacher education. 

The procedure of admission followed by Sadat Degree College in its different courses is not uniform. In a large number of degree courses, admissions are probably done on the merit of results of passing examinations in consonance with the general practice prevailing in the associated colleges at the undergraduate level. The D.El.Ed programme though is different in terms of admission procedure. Admission to the aforementioned courses shall be on merit, which implies marks obtained at the qualifying examination and grades in the entrance examination or selection process. The college may also follow any other selection process as prescribed by the state government/UT administration.
