Sahaja Institute of Technology and Sciences for Women (SITSW) was set up in the year 2008 in Karimnagar, Telangana to facilitate quality higher education to women. This affiliated college is combining the objective of providing education and promoting girl child by offering them the opportunity to study technology and sciences. This institute, situated in Kothapally, Rekurthey, is providing many engineering courses of B.Tech and diploma levels. SITSW is a young college with 11 members in faculty with a vision to produce professionally trained quality educated individuals in a conducive environment. The institute provides 5 courses in two degrees levels to meet the needs of the all female students with emphasis on engineering fields.

SITSW owns several facilities that have the capacity to improve learning environment as well as the sort of students it produces. The college library remains part of the learning college infrastructures aimed at providing students with a variety of resource to buildup their knowledge. Laboratory facilities complete with modern technology allow practical application across all the disciplines of engineering. It has an auditorium for all kind of events and seminars to encourage the academic life of campus. Healthy food is provided by the cafeteria for the students and stuff while health centres with first aid facilities are designed for the health of the campus inhabitants. Thanks to the superior sports complex, students can maintain their physical shape and well-being, and gym classes are held in a large gym. To members of the faculty coming from other colleges/towns or for the relatives of the students, the college offers guest house as well as waiting room services, thus implying courtesy.

The institute provides all the engineering discipline courses and has both the B.Tech onboard as well as the diploma courses. The B.Tech programmes are spread over four years and comprise core engineering branches including Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering. For those who wish to enrol in programmes of shorter durations, SITSW has developed three years diploma programmes in Computer Science Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering. All the courses are presented at the full-time schedule, which allows the student to work intensively in their chosen field. The availability of a number of courses show the institute’s focus in providing different kind of educations to women in technology and science.

The procedure of admission at Sahaja Institute of Technology and Sciences for Women involves merit list and is liberal. For the B.Tech programmes, the institute taken the entrance test score of TS EAMCET, which is a common entrance test for Engineering, Agriculture and Medical in Telangana state.
