Sahyadri Arts College, Shimoga, was set up in 1940 and is situated in Vidya Nagar, Shivamogga Karnataka. This co-educational college is located in an extended 79.1 acres area and is one of the constituent colleges and is famous for its approach of providing quality education. Officially recognised by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, Sahyadri Arts College teaches 902 students across 5 courses and 3 degrees. At the undergraduate level, the programmes that students can study for are BA and BSW (Bachelor of Social Work). For postgraduate education the college has MA programmes in Political Science, English, and Economics.
