Sai Ram College of Education an un-aided college for both boys & girls was set-up in 2012 with basic vision of producing quality Teachers of tomorrow. Srain Patti, Samana affiliated college supported by the Government of India, approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), offers quality teacher education. Located over an area of 1-acre, the college provides a streamlined education facility to its 181 students. This has been made so because the total number of faculty members at the institute is 16 making the student-teacher ratio as favorable as 10:1. At present, Sai Ram College of Education has only one stream of specialisation in teacher education, which shows its focus or concern to the field.

Sai Ram College of Education has many special amenities that are aimed at improving the college students ‘experience. Lawns in the compound appear attractive with little gimcracks such as trees placed its and playgrounds big enough for childer and adequate study. Physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics practicals are possible using apparatus in a properly equipped science laboratory for aspiring science teachers. Equipped with computers and internet connection and other IT related equipment, our college boasts of modern IT infrastructure, inclusive of projector, smart boards as well capable to support modern techniques of learning. Sitting as the central hub of academic materials, the RTA library is well stocked with books totaling to 3696, across the Academic spectrum. It also provides reference information, online journal and book bank facility to the students who are in need. The college has provided all that is required to support students’ full development including an auditorium where events and seminars are held, a canteen where students can take their meals and fully equipped classrooms for learning.

Sai Ram College of Education is committed to excellence in teaching profession offering a single course in B.Ed. This two-year full time programme aims at producing competent and passionate teachers. Having secured intake capacity of 100 students, the B.Ed programme at Sai Ram College of Education offers theoretical as well practical aspects that a teacher needs. The best evidence that the college intends to produce competent teachers is in its curriculum and the approach to training teachers.

Sai Ram College of Education follows admission guidelines and policies laid by the state government, U.T. Administration and University to which the college is affiliated to. Most of the colleges and schools take an entrance test very seriously, and they consider marks obtained in the qualifying exam to give admissions.
