Sai School of Engineering Burla, was started in 2018 to offer technical education to students resident in A.Katapali Burla in Sambalpur district of Odisha. This co-educational institute is a college affiliated to University and is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Ranking data has not been provided however the institute has enrolment for three diploma programmes of engineering fields. Academics Sai School of Engineering has a strength of 23 faculty members and has the right student faculty ratio to focus on the various requirements of its students. Transport also being another essential college facility, the college provides with buses which ply in the major city routes for easy access by the students. The technological facilities of the institute consist of 30 numbers of computer Core i3 configuration is also integrated to fulfil the technological requirements of modern education.
The Sai School of Engineering, Burla, currently provides only three full-time diploma courses – all in engineering streams ;- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering , Civil Engineering and Electrical Engineering . These programmes are aimed at preparing students with knowledge in their areas of specialisation within a period of three calendar years. On average the institute plans to have an approved student enrolment of 180 students overall including all courses offered; per course the enrolment is planned to be 60 students. However, the author does not provide the graduation numbers, although the consistent intakes followed by year-round graduations do indicate that a stream of prepared and specialised personnel continuously joins the workforce.
Decision on admissions to Sai School of Engineering, Burla is made strictly as per the recommendations made by the government of Odisha for admission in any institution.
