Sainik Institute of Management and Technology (SIMT) is an affiliated college, set up in 2014, situated in Jalandhar, Punjab. Located at Ladowali Road, Master Tara Singh Nagar, this institute has started making its mark in the IT education new breed. Among them are a B.Sc IT – Bachelor of Science in Information Technology; M.Sc IT – Master of Science in Information Technology; and a PGDCA – Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications. The B.Sc IT programme is offered over three years, the M.Sc IT takes two years and the PGDCA takes one year. All these courses are set to help students to be prepared and heat equipped to tackle the challenging world of IT. Though every nut and bolt of the institute is not known on the aspects of total physical capacity of seats and yearly graduation rate available, yet the fact that these three gross programmes are highlighted by the name of the institute indicates towards the niche, quality education in the IT field.
