From the inception of the institute, greater importance is given to the development of the institute library. The library is mainly devoted to technical books. The Students and staff at SIMT have access to model libraries that provide a dynamic and creative space for learning. The Library is the heart of an institute and whatever is the subject of reference, libraries are an invaluable resource. The Central Library functions as the primary information resource center and repository of all printed and e-resources for teaching and research activities at the institute. Apart from textbooks and recommended reading material prescribed for each course offered at the institute, dictionaries, encyclopedias, handbooks, and so on. The College library has a collection of about 350 books. It subscribes to books related to the computer science and IT field, course-related books, literature books, and newspapers. The library situated likely to allow in more light and air.

SAINIK INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT AND TECHNOLOGY (SIMT) has a huge and spectacular sports facility covering an area of 28 acres of land at the SIMT Main Campus. The campus has its own Badminton court, Football Field & Volleyball Court, and open ground to perform fitness exercises. There are enormous competitions conducted by institute self and by Inter College by Parental department which make students be successful in sports life also.

At SIMT we have a state of art Computer Design Lab equipped with the latest software and workstations. It is connected to the internet through a leased line to facilitate high-speed internet access. State of art servers is connected through a structured network. Printer and copier facilities are also available in the lab. It is a combination of many technologies including computer and communication technologies. Proper IT Training cannot be imparted at any level without an up-to-date laboratory, library, and qualified faculty. These three requisites are always taken care of by the management of the SIMT. The SIMT Computer Lab, at present 15 computers assigned for training. The college has all the latest software and has a collection of computer books in the library. SIMT will buy 15 more computers for the lab in the upcoming years to provide more satisfaction and facility to their students.
