Saint Sahara Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital was set up in 2004, is an affiliated college situated at Bathinda in Punjab state. Located on a complex of 10 acres, this university offers an excellent quality education in the field of Ayurvedic practices. The college is also affiliated with Central Council for Indian Medicine CCIM, the body responsible for the regulation of higher education in the country therefore making the college in conformity with the national set standards. The total enrolment of the college is 282 and faculty strength is 18, which make the level of learning quite personal.

Saint Sahara Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital has produced a variety of that serve to facilitate the learning process and also cater for the needs of the learner. A bit well equipped library is very essential in Ayurveda educational institution as because it provide necessary information’s for the students and teacher related to the Ayurveda. Namakkal is also home to Saint Sahara Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, which only has one course, the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS). This is a full-time programme which extends for six years and covers the complete course on Ayurvedic system of medicine. This course should have an approved admission capacity of 60 students to ensure the college offers quality education due to harmonious student to teacher ratio.

The admissions in Saint Sahara Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital depend mainly on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). This being a national level test is compulsory for the intending students to qualify for the BAMS course. The college follows the time table set by the regulatory authorities for admission and mostly accepts students in the months following the result of the NEET examination.
