SAL School of Architecture, Ahmedabad, was established in the year 2014. As of now, it is the only premier institution for architectural education in the state of Gujarat, India. This affiliated college offering courses falls under the approval of Council of Architecture and All India Council for Technical Education, situated at Sola-Bhadaj Road, opposite to Science City. This institution sprawls over 2 acres of campus and currently has an enrollment of 41 students guided by a faculty of 34 dedicated individuals. SAL School of Architecture offers two specialized courses at the under-graduate level: 5 year Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) and 2 year Master of Architecture in Interior Architecture (M.Arch), thus catering to aspiring architects as well as interior designers alike.

It proudly boasts to deliver its students with a completely comprehensive range of facilities that can enhance the learning experience. Well-stocked libraries perform the role of knowledge hubs, along with any type of material required for any type of research or study. State-of-the-art laboratories provide practical architectural education for experiments so that theoretical concepts learnt are applied to real tasks. It also hosts an auditorium that takes place of several events and seminars which add further to the vivacity of the academic atmosphere. SAL School of Architecture ensures the health and wellness of its community, hence houses a health center with basic first aid facilities. The institute believes in a well-balanced life, so much importance is given to sports facilities and a gym for students to keep fit themselves. IT infrastructure is also paid due attention so that students are abreast with the latest in their field. The campus also accommodates a cafeteria, guest rooms for visiting faculty and family members, and ample parking space for convenience.

SAL School of Architecture's academic offerings are oriented so as to mitigate the new challenges in the architectural profession. Presently, the institute offers two full-time courses viz. The programmes offered by the institute include Bachelor of Architecture – B.Arch with an intake of 80 students and Master of Architecture in Interior Architecture – M.Arch with an intake of 10 students. The programs provide a sound basis in the architectural principles and foster creativity and innovation. The five-year B.Arch program has a more comprehensive curriculum that blends theoretical knowledge with practical skills. The two-year M.Arch program specializes in interior architecture, offering the opportunity for students who are interested in specializing further in this subsector to do so.

Scores from two major national-level entrance exams can be considered for admission purposes at the institute. These are the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) and the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA). Entrance exams assess a student's analytical reasoning, drawing, and overall aptitude for architectural studies.
