The Salasar Balaji B.Ed. College was established in the year 2008 is one of the distinguished colleges in Sikar Rajasthan. Located at Jaipur Road behind the Circuit House; this co-educational college is committed to producing future educators. The institute which is located in a 2 acre space provides various courses related to teacher training to its 355 students. The college has faculties of 30 members including professors and lecturers so the student-teacher ratio of the college is also quite good where the students are benefited by direct personal contact and quality education. In the event of any illnesses or injuries for which students are not prepared, a health centre with first aid services is located on the school compound. We also have adequately equipped laboratories that include computer lab with 250 Pentium IV, science laboratories that cut across various disciplines and information communication technology Laboratory. For these facilities, modern information technology infrastructural support such as the use of the audio visual aids like LCD projectors and Overhead projectors has added on the teaching learning process.

Four full-time courses are offered at Salasar Balaji B.Ed. College to support all the needs of teacher education. College is offering B. Ed. Degree / D. El. Ed. Course which is of two years duration each with an intake capacity of one hundred students each. For those who want combination of programmes, the college offers four year integrated courses B.Sc. B.Ed and BA B.Ed. each with a seat capacity of one hundred. These programmes are sanctioned with aims of enabling the students to master both content knowledge and teaching competencies. The entire students from all the courses offered in this college is 400, which is an implication of the college’s provision of teachers in the region.

The admissions in the Salasar Balaji B.Ed. College are through the marks scored by the students in the Qualifying examination and/or endowment test.
