Samanta Chandra Sekhar Institute of Technology Management, Semiliguda (SCITM) is one of the leading establishments which was set up in the year of 2001. This affiliated college is situated in Koraput, Odisha and occupies as vast area as 25.83 acres. SCITM is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), therefore covers the points and provides qualitative education in the sphere of engineering and technology. SCITM provides all the engineering fields at the undergraduate and diploma level for the students. 6 B.Tech programmes, and 5 Diploma courses can be founded in the institute and all of them have full-time stream. B.Tech courses are Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. The Diploma programmes are offered in Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. The total approved intake of students across all the courses offered in SCITM is 286 and in this way, the institute emphasises on access coupled with quality to each student.

The admission process followed in SCITM is justified as credential and consistent with national and state entrance examinations. For the admissions in B.Tech programmes the institute admits the students on the basis of Joint Entrance Examination JEE Main and Odisha Joint Entrance Examination.
