Degree-wise Admission Procedure
Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery This is a 2-year diploma course with admission to 40 seats. One should have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board. The selection is generally done through marks scored in the examination that leads to qualification.
GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery): SINPS offers 50 seats for this 3-year diploma program. The eligibility criteria is 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Admission is purely merit-based by considering the marks in the qualifying exam.
B.Sc Nursing: This is an undergraduate program, 4-year course with 40 seats. The candidates are required to pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English. It is selected by the academic merit in the qualifying examination.
Post Basic B.Sc Nursing: The 2 years course has a total of 30 seats for registered nurses. Candidates should be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife (RNRM) or equivalent, which they must complete GNM course.
Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician: This course consists of 30 seats. For this course, candidates must pass 10+2 with the science stream. Admission is solely based on performance in the merit list of the qualifying examination.
It is not so good college for student who wants to do something in life. Courses are available but teaching style and classes are not held on regular basis. Library is given for group studies and playground is also there.
