The Smarth Law College, Pune was set up in the year, 2019 and therefore considered as the relatively new juridical institution in India. This affiliated college is situated at Belhe, Pune district and is duly approved by Bar council of India (BCI) that makes it to follow the norms or standards set up by the law council of India. Located on a three acres plot, Samarth Law College has the advantage of limited campus area for learning in law profession. Since its inception the college is expanding and it has 2 motivated Faculties of Law who are trying to establish quality legal education in this institution. 

It is wholly focused on delivering comprehensive education opportunities, along with providing a number of amenities for student needs and learning. The campus has provided hostels for the male and female students and therefore students of all the genders can effectively live comfortably. The college library well stocked provides reading and research materials for the college’s academic programs as the college’s technology enables student connectivity and exposure to current legal technology. As for the student who are conscious about their health and are willing to do workouts then college also offer gym and sports facilities. The campus there is also provided an auditorium for holding events and seminars, cafeteria for taking snacks and refreshment and health center including first aid services. Also, for further demonstration of hospitality, guest house has been provided to the faculty and guests of the college and even the students of the other universities. 

Samarth Law College currently offers one comprehensive course: the BA LLB program. This is a five-year, full course program offered to students as a combination of arts degree and law degree to equip students with general knowledge and more importantly legal knowledge as well as application of such principles in various settings. It has a nominated capacity of intakes of 60 students for each program and this setting ensures that a physical environment is availed to enhance close inter-student and faculty contact. This approach assume that by focusing NLS on these areas, it will effectively train competent legal professional prepared to practice in the new legal environment. 

Every year, candidates are admitted in Samarth Law College with a view to enroll the best suited and deserving students for the course of BA LLB. MHCET Law is a state level entrance test taken by the college where candidates’ ability to study law is determined. Students are clearly encouraged to closely monitor the MHCET Law exam dates along with admission schedules to the college. Though detailed information concerning scholarships is not available, a student is advised to consult the college officials in this regard. Despite its young age, Samarth Law college is setting its feet right in the arena of legal education. Its association with the Bar Council of India and concentrated subjects of legal education are the reasons by which it is an institution that should be attempted by those who would like to pursue their career in law.
