Located in the Marathwada region of the state of Maharashtra, India, Sangameshwar College is an autonomous institution founded in 1953. The college spreads across 2.93 acres and is accredited by the NAAC. With a combined enrollment strength of 4,638 students and 48 faculty members, the college offers diverse courses under 9 different degree programmes. The student body consists of 55 percent males and 45 percent females, out of which 86 percent are undergraduate students, and 14 percent pursue postgraduate programmes. The undergraduate courses that are popularly being offered are BBA, BCA, BA, B.Com, B. Sc, and B. Sc in Computer Science. At postgraduate level, the college offers M.Sc in Computer Science, M.Com, and MA programs in subjects like Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, Hindi, and English.
