Sanghamitra Teacher Training College is a coeducational college that was established in 2011 at Ranchi, Jharkhand. This affiliated college, accredited by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), is dedicated to the course of teacher education. Located on a small 1.97-acre plot, the college is designed to provide a contained academic environment for future teachers. As of now, the total number of students is one hundred eighty-six and the faculty members are sixteen; thus, the student-teacher ratio is good enough to deliver personalised education. Sanghamitra Teacher Training College today runs one programme, the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), showing its commitment to producing competent teachers in the future.

This college has most facilities that can be said to boost learning besides the social and physical development of the students. An equipped Library is an information center/point, which is a basic necessity for any student to be opportune to access books that will facilitate his/her study. To this end, the institution accepts the place of advanced information technology in the current society and has well equipped IT equipment. On special request, college also provides a hostel facility where female students can live safely and securely. Sanghamitra Teacher Training College has only one course offer which is B.Ed, a full time 2 years programme. It allows the institution to focus much of the education major’s resources and efforts toward the creation of effective educators. Still, the B.Ed programme has an intake capacity of 100 students and the institution ensures that all these opportunities are grabbed by enthusiasts who would want to embrace their teaching careers. Although figures for the most recent year are not available, based on maintaining a steady enrollment record, the college is producing trained educators to be absorbed in the teaching force.
