Sanjay Gandhi College of Education focuses primarily on teacher education, offering a single full-time course: the programme of specialisations leading to the award of the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.). This two-year program has an approved intake of one hundred (100) students, which the college has ensured to keep small enough to maintain a good student-teacher ratio for successful delivery of the programme. The course work of B.Ed. is aimed at developing teachers who shall become effective teachers upon the completion of their class.
