Sanskar City College of Education, Rajnandgaon: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Sanskar City College of Education Rajnandgaon is one of the new generation co-educational institution started in 2017 with an aim to prepare educators of tomorrow. Situated in Thakurtola, G. E. Road, NH 6 Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh, this affiliated college works under the permission of the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Located in two main building sited in 2.4 acre of land, Zulfiqar college provides two degree programs in education. Sanskar City College of Education is physically capacity situated at 349 student’s intake and 20 faculty members, which provides suitable environment for the teaching learners. 

The college prides in having several learning facilities that would improve on the college education of its students. An integrated library facility acts as a source of information to the student while the enhancement of I.T. facilities ensures that students are exposed to IT inventions of education. There are practical laboratory blocks for technical teaching and learning activities, accompanied by an event and seminar hall. For all round development, the college has facilities for games and gym. A cafeteria helps students find a place for informal discussion; a health center, which is equipped with first aid facilities, takes care of the health of all college members. 

Sanskar City College of Education offers two full-time courses: Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. Ed) Grading System. These two programs take two years each and the format is intended to provide the students with better prospects of attaining success in their chosen profession- teaching. The admission ratios are moderate at the college to maintain a healthy intake where each of the programs offered has 100 seats cumulatively the two programs have 200 seats only. This specialized format is beneficial since it is individualized, and produces good quality training for teachers.

Like every college, Sanskar City College of Education admits students based on their academic performance as reflected on their previous scores. Admission to the B.ED programme is done strictly according to the marks touched by candidates in the qualifying/entrance examination as per norms of the state government and the affiliated university. Likewise, admission to D.El.Ed programme is also merit-based and the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and / or entrance test in accordance with state government or UT Administration rules.
