Sant Darbara Singh College of Education for Women Lopon the institution is one of the premier institution in the state of Punjab of India which was started in the year of 1976 fro the cause of the education of Women only. This affiliated college is in Moga district of the Indian state, Punjab; it is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Situated over an area of 7 acres, it has three main courses in education in which total number of students enrolment is 199. Sant Darbara Singh College of Education for Women has three full time programmes for students and all these programmes are designed with the view to catering for the needs of prospective teachers. The center piece of the college programs is the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program that has a capacity to admit 250 students. For learners who wish to proceed to postgraduate level in education they can take the Master of Education (M. Ed) which has 50 seats. The college also undertakes 50 students for Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) for prospective primary teachers.
