General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) is a three-year full-time diploma program offered by the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education, Mumbai, and approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).


Eligibility Criteria

The candidate who has passed the 10+2 with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40%  However, Science is preferable.

The candidate who has passed the 10+2 with English having 40% marks in the vocational ANM course from a school recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.

The candidate who has passed the 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in the Vocational Stream-Healthcare Science from a recognized CBSE board/Centre.

Registered ANM with a pass mark.

For disabled candidates: 3% Disability reservation to be considered with a disability

5% is relaxed for SC/ST candidates.

Any other quotas as per the State Govt. under the reservation policy

 Admission of students shall be once a year.

Students shall be medically fit.

Minimum age for admission will be 17 years. (as on 31st December of that year) The upper age limit is 35 years. For ANM/ for LHV, there is no age bar.

The admission is based on CAP Counselling.
