Shant Ramnarayan Rajkishor Shankar Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Ghazipur Uttar Pradesh, is an emerging college which was founded in the year only 2012. Situated in a small one and a quarter acre piece of land this co-educational college has been well on its way to delivering a good standard of education to the students of the particular area. At the moment, the college provides three different degree programmes with the total number of students of 764. Currently, the institute is enriched with 6 members from the faculty side and preserved a strong faculty student ratio of 1: 15, which is helpful for individual care and motivation. Affiliated by National Council for Teacher Education [NCTE], Ghazipur college has established itself as one of the potential picks for teacher as well as arts students.

The college also has well-equipped laboratories as the physical infrastructure, taking the students closer to meet actual work situation. This initiative will help to make it quite easy for students and staff with access to the digital resources. Other facilities include health centre with first aid facilities, Canteen for snacks, and visitors’ accommodation mainly faculty and family members. Sant Ramnarayan Rajkishor Shankar Mahila Mahavidyalaya has a relatively small set of full-time programmes to offer within various degrees under higher education. 

The institute's academic portfolio comprises three main programmes: Bachelors Degree Programme: B.Ed, BA. Bachelors in Education: B. Ed, and two-year diploma course: Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). It offers an option of an approved intake of 300 students in these various programmes with an intention of producing educators and arts personalities of the future. The B.Ed and D.El.Ed courses have an intake of one hundred students each while the BA has the flexibility of intake depending on the availability of resources and intensity of demand. These diverse courses enable the learner to select a course of his or her choice in teaching or liberal arts depending on the dream career.

Regarding the B.Ed & D.El.Ed programmes, admissions are taken through merit of qualifying examination /entrance examination as per norms prescribed by the state government & affiliates university.
