Sant Ravidas Polytechnic, Chandauli, was established in year 2017 and is self financed that it is located in Chandauli of Uttar Pradesh. Approved by the AICTE, this co-educational institute is spread over an area of 6.62 acres and is affiliated with a university. These programmes are diploma programmes and the enrolment are 314 generic students and the polytechnic has a faculty strength of 20 members. The institute offers Electronics Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, and Instrumentation and Control Engineering as its fields of specialisation and comes with the primary purpose of offering quality technical education for engineers. 

Sant Ravidas Polytechnic is equipped with a number of amenities that can improve its students’ learning outcome. A modern equipped library plays an important role of knowledge source centre which offer to students a variety of useful information. The college’s IT facilities allows the students to familiar with the new upcoming technological trends with a view of preparing them for the future. Departmental laboratories give practical experience to the students since they provide practical exercises in accordance with the theoretical knowledge. Thus, under the general development facilities, use of sports centres that allows students ability to exercise their muscles and enhance team spirit are provided. Sant Ravidas Government Polytechnic College gives dedicate  attention to the fact that it offers only three full time diploma courses for which there are three years of course strength. The institute has a total approved student capacity of 180 students for all programmes offered with 60 places in each course. These programmes are intently constructed to make sure that learners acquire adequate knowledge in their areas of specialisation as they are prepared to assume various technical positions or advanced learning. 

Sant Ravidas Government Polytechnic has a common admission process through Joint Entrance Examination Polytechnic conducted by the Joint Entrance Examination Council, Lucknow.
