Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Government College, Mungeli, started in 2010, is an affiliated college in Sargaon of Chhattisgarh. Located in Maniyari River bank ,this is a government institution covering an area of 5 acres. The college is also accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) proving its point to be a college of good quality.  The college has taken cumulative enrolment of 524 students and faculties ten, it was facilitating five programmes in its multiple disciples. It aims at offering quality and affordable higher learning to the population within students’ catchment area with faculties in Arts, Commerce and Science.

Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Government College offers 5 full-time undergraduate programmes including BA, B.Com, B.Sc degree programmes available to students pursuing an undergraduate education. The total sanctioned capacity for these courses is 220 new entries per year with 80 for the BA and B.Sc groups and 60 for the B.Com course. All its course take a total of three years duration, though this kind of programmes offers the students with broad based education within their areas of specialisation. These basic disciplines comply with what the college’s basic objective of offering liberal arts, commerce and sciences to the students.
