Sant Viragi Baba Mahavidyalaya, Ghatampur: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Established in 2005 Sant Viragi Baba Mahavidyalaya, Ghatampur is affiliated college located in Kanpur Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. The campus of the institution sprawls over 7.16 acres. Gradually increasing the number of academic programmes and infrastructure, the college has managed to enrol 3,007 students with 28 faculty members.

The college boasts an all-inclusive facility intended to create an experience for the students. At the central core of these is a well-stocked library with a large collection of books, journals, encyclopedias, and magazines. The college is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education. B.Ed. Programme has been followed strictly by NCTE standards. The library subscribes to National and International journals. For the science enthusiasts, the college maintains a lab meeting NCTE norms, which is upgraded time to time. Facilities for Indoor and Outdoor Games with fully-equipped Gymnasium will be there to ensure the physical fitness of the students along with the spirit of teams.

Sant Viragi Baba Mahavidyalaya caters to full-time courses in diversified fields to meet the academic diversity of the aspirants. Institutionally, it provides 5 courses, which include both UG courses like B.A., B.Sc. and PG programmes like M.A. Hindi and Education and also admits the students to pursue B.Ed. 

Admission process varies with different courses. However, so far as the B.Ed. course is concerned, admissions are strictly on merit. They consider marks obtained either in the qualifying examination or entrance examination conducted. The college follows rules of the state government/UT administration, and affiliated university.
