Santal Pargana College, Dumka (SPC Dumka) is a college in Dumka, Jharkhand, was founded in 1955. Under NAAC, this constituent college has received Grade B and provides numerous undergraduate and postgraduate courses. largedaeacross a total area of 37 acres SPC Dumka has total intake of 3, 980 students and a team of 54 dedicated faculties. It presently provides 28 courses spread over 7 degrees in the faculties of Arts, Science and Commerce. Being a co-educational institute, the male/female ration is 61:39 and all the students are from the state only.

In order to meet the needs of students, SPC Dumka offers a number of amenities. The campus consists of well furnished laboratories for chemistry, physics, botany and zoology to encourage practical knowledge and innovation. An extensive library collection of approximately 44,000 books, reference texts, 3000 journals, periodicals etc. is available for teaching-learning. The computing facilities in the college have all the hardware’s in place, well updated software packages and internet facility. For student’s welfare Santal Pargana College Dumka provides twelve hostels with proper separate arrangements for Boys and Girls hostels for comfortable living. The campus also includes sports grounds, an auditorium for officials meetings and a canteen which meets the daily needs of students and employees.

The courses offered by Santal Pargana College, Dumka are available as total of 28 courses in which some are courses and some are on intermediate level. For the undergraduates the products include full-time courses like B.A. (Hons), B.Sc. (Hons), B.Com. (Hons), and general courses in Arts, Science and Commerce. At the postgraduate level the college offers masters degree through M.A. programmes in various disciplines. All courses are taught in full-time basis and enables the students to get the best education in every specialisation they choose to pursued. The overall student capacity is 3,980 and hence the college admits a number of students to offer quality education in the region.
