Sapthagiri Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre (SIMSRC), a leading medical college in India was started in 2011 located in Bangalore. This affiliated college, approved as per the NMC and INC, also provides diverse medical and allied health science courses. It is established on a vast area of land of 15 acres, and in the recent years, SIMSRC has come up to be one of the leading institutes providing medical education.

The institute has excellent amenities which have been established with the aim of enhancing ideal learning for students. Most medical and allied health science programmes, that is 37 courses, are provided in SIMSRC. The major programme of the college is MBBS which has 250 admissions per year, and other scholarship programmes like MD, MS etc., will be few seats only, 2-32 for each of them. The courses that it offers also include super-specialty courses like DM and M.Ch in different disciplines. All in all, 37 courses are provided by SIMSRC across seven types of degrees, which proves that the medical institution is interested in various approaches to education. The courses range from the under graduate levels in faculties such as MBBS and B.Sc in different medical technologies to postgraduate and doctoral levels in area of specialised medical sciences. The course include MD in General Medicine, Radiodiagnosis, Paediatrics, and so on. 

At SIMSRC, majority of candidates admitted are normally given based on national level examinations. Concerning the admission to MBBS programme, there is, therefore, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or commonly known as NEET-UG. MD and MS courses are competed through NEET-PG scores while DM and M.Ch courses are competed through NEET-SS results.
