Sarada Vilas College of Pharmacy in Mysore, Karnataka, was started in 1992 and is a well-known college of Pharmacy. This affiliated college is situated in Krishnamurthypuram, Mysore, Karnataka that is working for the future of pharmacy since 1980. Recognised by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), the institute is providing various programs in pharmaceutical sciences. The college is spread over 10 acre campus and offers total student intake of 340 and is comprised of 23 faculty members that makes focus on each student and providing quality education possible.

Sarada Vilas College of Pharmacy has a broad range of 5 full time pharmacy courses extending from the first level of pharmacy education. These programmes are offered in Diploma, Bachelor, Masters and Doctorate level within 5 courses offered by the institute. The college has a total approved student intake of 340 over its programmes of study. The mentioned flagship programmes are as follows: 4-Year Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma) with 60 intake capacity, 6-Year Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) with 30 intake capacity and 2-Year Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) with 60 intake capacity. At post graduate level courses, this college provides specialised M.Pharma courses in Pharmacognosy and Pharmaceutics.
It has different ways of admitting students depending on the course of study in Sarada Vilas College of Pharmacy. For undergraduate programmes such as B.Pharma, the college adheres to the normal admission requirements as provided by the respective state government. The Pharm.D programme also has its own admission requirement and provisions as listed below. For the postgraduate courses specially M.Pharma in Pharmacognosy and Pharmaceutics, candidates with valid GPAT scores are preferred. The infrastructure and facilities are mediocre to say. It has got projectors,computer systems and digital library for better learning still it lacks in maintenance of building, spacious classes and lab equipments are in poor condition. It can improvise on its part of providing more specialised labs for respective subjects.
