Sarbati Devi Women’s College recognised in 1981 is located at Rajgangpur, Sundargarh, Odisha. The 2 acre sized affiliated college is committed to the cause of women education. National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has accredited the college in order to ensure that the college upholds the good standard in its academic programmes. 30 faculties and 756 students comprising the total college student capacity are engaged in learning 11 courses in 2 degree programmes offered for arts and sciences majors.

Sarbati Devi Women’s College has numerous faculties within and outside the class that can help to improve the student’s performance and the general performance of a learner. One of the notable facilities include Girls Hostel, a home away from home for 300 students equipped with; power supply, 24hour security services. The college library counts approximately 9,000 text and reference books that allow students to contribute to their academic progress. For physical exercise there is a gymnasium well equipped to compliment the ministry of youth services financial support. The college also has fully equipped functional laboratories to compliment practical based education, with well-developed I.T and internet services throughout the college campus.

Sarbati Devi Women’s College presents 11 full-time programmes only which are regular courses. The college offers both arts and science programmes of study which includes BA Hons. programmes and B.Sc Hons. programmes and has a total authorised intake of 320 across all fields of specialisation.
