Sardar Chanan Singh Ghumman Memorial College of Education, Shahabad, was established in the year 2008 and is one of the affiliated colleges at Kurukshetra, Haryana. This institution is co-educational and has received the approval from NCTE for its teacher educational courses. The college has its campus on 2.2 acres, where it has two undergraduate and graduate degree programs with a total enrolment of 203 students. The institute has a faculty of 17, and thus the student-faculty ratio of this institute is very appreciable. The admission process at Sardar Chanan Singh Ghumman Memorial College of Education is based entirely on merit in accordance with the State Government, UT administration, and affiliated University policies. Candidates shall be selected for admission in the B.Ed course on the basis of the merit of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The college may use other selection procedures as per the policy as prevalent at that time. The same case applies to the D.El.Ed course, whose admission is based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination, entrance test performance, or other selection methods as prescribed by the authorities.
