Sardar Patel College of Education was founded in the year 2006. The co-educational college is located at Farrukh Nagar, Gurgaon, spread over 3 acres. Being an affiliated college, this institution has been recognised by NCTE for quality standards in teacher education. The institute currently offers two specialised courses with a total student enrolment of 231, supported by a faculty of 16 experienced educators. 

Sardar Patel College of Education has a number of facilities to enhance the learning experience of the students within its premises. The admission procedure of B.Ed course, shall be made based on merit, taking into consideration the marks secured by the candidate in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The admission process differs as per the direction or regulations framed by State Government, UT Administration, or Affiliated University. For D.El.Ed, admission is strictly based on merit, based on marks in the qualifying examination and or Entrance Test result. Sardar Patel College of Education, Gurgaon, and is one of the reputed colleges of teacher education. D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education): The college has this D.El.Ed program running for two years. Admission into the same course is strictly on merit determined by the performance of the candidate in the qualifying examination and/or by entrance test results. The bonafide student can get an intake of 50 seats for D.El.Ed with an overall course fee of Rs 51,600. Eligibility conditions are to be fulfilled by the candidates as prescribed by the college and concerned educational authorities.
