Sardar Patel College of Education, Gurgaon: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Sardar Patel College of Education was founded in the year 2006. The co-educational college is located at Farrukh Nagar, Gurgaon, spread over 3 acres. Being an affiliated college, this institution has been recognised by NCTE for quality standards in teacher education. The institute currently offers two specialised courses with a total student enrolment of 231, supported by a faculty of 16 experienced educators. 

Sardar Patel College of Education has a number of facilities to enhance the learning experience of the students within its premises. It lies at the centre with a well-stacked library containing more than 7,000 books and 500 reference books. This vast reservoir of knowledge is further supported by subscriptions to different journals, yearbooks, encyclopedias, and periodicals that would help the students in their academic pursuits. The institution also lays great emphasis on technological advancement with a well-equipped computer lab with multimedia-enabled systems and internet connectivity. 

Sardar Patel College of Education currently offers two full-time courses viz. Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) based on a two-year course that will help students take up a career teaching profession at the Secondary and Senior Secondary levels.

The admission procedure of B.Ed course, shall be made based on merit, taking into consideration the marks secured by the candidate in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The admission process differs as per the direction or regulations framed by State Government, UT Administration, or Affiliated University. For D.El.Ed, admission is strictly based on merit, based on marks in the qualifying examination and or Entrance Test result. The College strictly adheres to the policy of State Governments and UT Administration regarding admission to ensure fairness and transparency in the selection procedure.
