Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel Shiksha Mahavidyalaya Barwani, started in 2006 lies in Sendhwa M.P is an affiliated college. This co-educational instituition is self-financed and is accredited by NAAC and is affiliated with NCTE. It is a small college spread over a one-acre land and focuses on offering education to students with specific learning disabilities based on different categories: total - 291; full-time - 200; part-time - 91; and faculty - 26. As an institute, CU provides a two –degree specializing in education that trains teachers at both the bachelors and masters level.

Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel Shiksha Mahavidyalaya has been equipped with a variety of facilities meant to support learning in the students. Any library that is effectively managed provides the clientele with various forms of books, newspapers, magazines as well as academic journals. The reading room can comfortably contain 40-50 students at any one time so that they can comfortably read their books or research in details. A feature of the educational process is the availability of the educational technology laboratory, equipped with appropriate up-to-date tools and instructional aids like LCD projectors, computers and educational models to meet the technological challenges facing all teachers today. Students may also need a canteen, a health center that contains stations for providing first aid, and a gym. The college also has invested in other opportunities for the comprehensive development of people and has installed IT and guest facilities for the visiting faculty as well as for their relatives.

In terms of courses offered in academics, Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel Shiksha Mahavidyalaya offer two full time teaching courses in Education. The B.Ed programme has 100 intake capacity, and M.Ed programme has 50 intake capacity. Both programmes may be finished in two years; however, they offer proper preparation for future professionals in the sphere of education. The college’s concentration on teacher education helps to make it more unique due to the fact that is targets students who have intentions of working within the educational systems.

Admissions in Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel Shiksha Mahavidyalaya are governed by marks obtained in the previous examination and/entrance examination. Admission to the B.ED programme is done based on directions administered by the State Government, the UT Administration, and the affiliated University. Likewise, admission to M.Ed programme is in accordance with admission procedures laid down by the State Government, Central Government, University or UT Administration.
