Saroj College of Engineering and Polytechnic, Lucknow, commonly known as SCEP, is an affiliated college situated in Chand Sarai near Gosainganj Sultanpur Road, Lucknow. It is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), which helps the institute maintain adherences the standard of technical education in the country. SCEP has diploma programmes of Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, and Manufacturing Engineering which can easily capture the market needs. The college offers its education and practical training facilities with a faculty of 40 members. 

There are several infrastructural installations within the college that may be of great importance to the students. The library is informational centre of the institution where many books, journals and electronic sources are available for teaching-learning process. SCEP boasts of a first rate IT support system which students need to ensure they are informed on the latest innovations. The college also has well-equipped, teaching department laboratories for practical work training of students to converge the gap between the classroom learning and work experience. 

There are in all, 9 diploma programmes being offered in the Saroj College of Engineering and Polytechnic, out of which all are on full time. This college too has offered new programmes such as Diploma in Cinematography, Film Technology Animation and Visual Effects, Directors and Screen Play Writing and TV Production specialty.
