Sarvoday College of Education, Gandhinagar, was established in the year 2007 as an affiliated college at Kalol, Gujarat. This co-educational institution is approved by NCTE. The institution sprawls over 1 acre of land in a compact campus with a focused learning environment. With a total intake of 105 students and a faculty strength of 16.

Sarvoday College of Education is dedicated to providing a comprehensive education system with various facilities aimed at nurturing academic and other interests of the students. It serves as a knowledge hub with the library stocked with all kinds of educational resources in the form of encyclopedias, periodicals, and journals relating to different branches of education and techniques of teaching. The institution has also given much emphasis to digital literacy and hence has provided a computer laboratory with 15 computers and unlimited internet access. This IT setup will help trainees in developing computer-aided teaching aids and enable them to exploit various online educational resources, thereby preparing them for today's technology-driven classrooms.

Sarvoday College of Education offers only one specialised course—the programme of B.Ed. This is a full-time two-year course that helps students develop successful careers in teaching and education. With an approved intake of 100 seats, the programme caters to a large number of aspiring teachers annually.
